This Privacy Policy explains how Leads Registry LLC ("ChooseHomeService," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit choosehomeservice.com (the "Site") or use our home service matching service (the "Service"). By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Summary: ChooseHomeService is a free matching service. When you request quotes, we share the information you submit with home service contractors and marketing partners so they can contact you about your project. We do not perform home improvement work. You can opt out of sales or sharing of your information at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the Service you may provide:

Contact information — first and last name, phone number, email address.
Property information — street address, city, state, ZIP code, and whether you own the property.
Project information — the service you need, project type, scope, and timeline.
Communications — messages you send through our contact or privacy request forms.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and date and time of visits.
Marketing attribution data — campaign parameters (such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers) that show how you reached the Site.
Consent verification data — we use third-party services such as ActiveProspect TrustedForm and Jornaya LeadiD, which may record your interactions with our forms (including a replay of the page session) to document that you gave consent. These services generate a certificate or token linked to your submission.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from advertising platforms, analytics providers, and data verification services, for example to confirm that a phone number or address is valid.

2. How we use information

To match you with contractors and partners who may provide quotes for your project, and to deliver your request to them.
To contact you about your request, including by phone, text message, and email, as described in Section 4.
To verify submissions, prevent fraud and duplicate requests, and document consent.
To operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and Service, and to measure advertising performance.
To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Use.

We share personal information in the following ways:

Contractors and marketing partners. When you submit a request, we share your contact, property, and project information with home service contractors, networks, and marketing partners (see our Marketing Partners list) so they can contact you and provide quotes. These parties may receive compensation-related value from this information, and under some state laws this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Each recipient uses your information under its own privacy policy.
Service providers. Vendors that host the Site, provide analytics, verify consent, send communications, or otherwise support our operations, under contractual obligations to protect the information.
Advertising partners. Cookies and similar technologies may allow advertising partners to collect information about your browsing to measure and target advertising (see Section 5).
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ChooseHomeService, our users, or others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

ChooseHomeService is not responsible for the privacy practices of contractors or partners who receive your information. We encourage you to review their policies when they contact you.

4. Calls, texts and consent

If you submit a request and agree to the consent language shown on our form, you authorize ChooseHomeService and the marketing partners listed on our Marketing Partners page to contact you at the number you provide, including through calls and text messages using automated technology and prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, telling a caller you no longer wish to be contacted, emailing privacy@choosehomeservice.com, or submitting a "Do Not Contact" request on our privacy request page. Because partners maintain their own contact lists, you may also need to opt out directly with a partner that has contacted you.

5. Cookies and tracking

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand usage, and measure and deliver advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how the Site works.

Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser, as required by applicable law.

Do Not Track. Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals have no common standard, and we do not currently respond to them, except as described for GPC above.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

Know or access the personal information we have collected about you;
Request deletion of your personal information;
Correct inaccurate personal information;
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising;
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights; and
Appeal our decision on your request, where applicable.

To exercise these rights, use our privacy request form or email privacy@choosehomeservice.com. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information in our records. You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Appeal."

7. Notice to California residents

In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, from the sources and for the purposes described above:

We may "sell" or "share" identifiers, customer records, commercial information, geolocation data, and internet activity with contractors, marketing partners, and advertising partners. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.

Shine the Light. California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes by contacting us at the email below.

8. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to document consent and comply with legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
